Handcrafted | Nizamabad, Azamgarh Terracotta Art

This handcrafted black pottery vase features a bold floral composition rendered in fine silver inlay. A large stylized flower forms the central focal point, framed by layered leaves, curved foliage, and delicate botanical detailing that extends vertically across the body. The symmetrical arrangement of the flower, leaves, and ornamental scrollwork creates a balanced composition that reflects the detailed artistry of traditional Indian craftsmanship.

The deep matte-black finish is achieved through the traditional smoke-firing technique practiced in Nizamabad, Azamgarh. Each floral, botanical, and ornamental element is meticulously hand-etched and embedded with silver, producing a refined metallic contrast against the rich black terracotta surface while preserving the handcrafted character of the piece.

Its rounded cylindrical body, softly curved shoulders, slender tapered neck, and broad flared rim create a graceful and balanced silhouette. A subtle raised ring around the neck and horizontal grooves around the base add restrained structural details. Whether displayed as a standalone decorative accent or styled with dried botanicals, the vase brings quiet character to consoles, bookshelves, side tables, entryways, and curated living spaces.
